Working rule of thumb: copy and paste from the manuscript, capture only the strongest lines, and keep moving past maybes.

  • Prefer the best excerpts, not the most excerpts.
  • Stay under roughly 3 excerpts per poem and 30 per book.
  • Aim for plenty of excerpts in the 10–25 word range.
  • Use Cmd/Ctrl + Enter to submit quickly from a text box.

Select a book to load poem titles from the catalog/EPUB source, or keep going manually for non-EPUB titles.

This is the first Weaver-side replacement for the excerpt gathering form. Book intake now aims at catalog/EPUB-backed metadata first, while video and fix lanes stay closer to the old form behavior for now.

Graphics Creation Queue

This replaces the old quote-image creation browser. `Needs graphics` is the true creation queue. `Release Catalog` narrows that queue to books with publishing-order release metadata. `Graphics QC` is for graphics that already exist and should be reviewed. `Mismatch pairing` is for QC-rejected graphics that need to be matched to the correct excerpt. `Poetry Please handoff` is for approved graphics and their downstream status.
